Since it was already my pleasure to bring you information about the Cliff Stevenson Group and the expertise and professionalism Cliff (pictured at left), Mike, Dawn, and Sandra bring to your home search as Calgary real estate agents, so when I got the opportunity to provide a review of Cliff's personal website, I gladly accepted. One of the things in my original piece was being impressed about the forward-looking design and user experience his real estate site provides, which really sets it apart from not only local competitors, but the national firms as well. Having said that, however, I was a little taken back by what I found when I made it over to Cliff's site. Don't get me wrong, it's a clean, great-looking site. It's a good presentation, and offers every bit of the functionality and variety of options his companion Calgary real estate site, the only problem is the timeliness of the site at present. When I typed it up in the URL bar, the first thing I noticed was the site has not been updated in at least the last year and a half. Trust me, I can relate. Currently, I manage two websites for my businesses, along with retail channels, social media, social networking, and simply creating content and updating the small things here and there can quickly eat away at your time. Time waits for no man, however, and when potential customers are reading "(c) 2011" in the footers, they are probably going to think the site dormant. If this site can be brought back up to speed, I think The Cliff Stevenson Group would have a potent one-two punch not only for reaching potential homebuyers, but also in the expansion of Cliff's brand.
